For local deliveries within Hardin County, Ohio, we can make arrangements for free pickup orders at local public locations in Kenton, Ohio.
Although we are unable to guarantee deliveries outside of the county, we are willing to discuss mutual accommodations.
We are not in a position to ship our eggs. As such we do not offer this option.
We water-test and clean all the washed eggs, ensuring we do not provide spoiled eggs. Also, our eggs are guaranteed fresh by being obtained several times each day. Therefore, we will exchange eggs up to 7 days from the purchase date. For any eggs that need to be exchanged email us directly at customer.service@candkhomestead.com.
Washed eggs can last up to 6 weeks in your refrigerator. Once washed theses eggs must be continued to be refrigerated until use. Store bought eggs in the US are washed before they arrive at your local market. Thus they require storage in a refrigerator. Our washed eggs require the same refrigerated storeage.
Unwashed eggs can sit out on your tabletop or closet without the need to be put in your refrigerator. However, please understand that the temperature and humidity of your home and storage area can impact the longevity of the eggs. In addition, unwashed eggs must washed prior to immediate use.
